Reiki is a light-touch therapy that restores balance to our bodies, much like acupuncture, qigong, shiatsu, and yoga. It involves no physical manipulation, substances, or needles.
When the therapist places or hovers their hands just above the body, the movement of KI is triggered. You may feel the energy moving or tingling, you may feel like you’re floating, or you may not feel the KI during the session, but the energy is always working, even when movement is not noticed right away.
